The dynamics of disorderly growth and modification of cities, human activity and the consequent replacement of natural elements by materials with low permeability interfere with local microclimatic properties. Therefore, the temperature in more urbanized regions has higher levels than in adjacent rural regions, a phenomenon known as the Isle of Heat. The aim of this work is to deepen the investigation of the presence of Heat Islands in the region of Coxipó, in the city of Cuiabá-MT using mobile transects at defined points for different urbanization characteristics, according to the classification of Local Climatic Zones. For this, the temperature and relative humidity of the air were collected with subsequent data analysis in the statistical software R, where regions of greater freshness and humidity were found that constitute phenomena of thermo hygrometric anomalies that benefit the urban microclimate under study.
