Happy New Year - Welcome 2026 - Editorial Information for 2025
Dear readers, authors, reviewers, and editors of the Nativa Journal
The Editorial Team of the NATIVA Journal thanks you for another year of partnerships and mutual growth. We wish that the next year (2026) will be full of new projects and achievements.
We have concluded the activities related to the year 2025, with the continuous publication of 81 articles, distributed across four issues. As a way to improve the editorial transparency of NATIVA, we present below a brief report of this period. Of the 81 articles, 39 were published in English, 4 in Spanish, and 38 in Portuguese.
Of the articles published in 2025, it is worth highlighting that Nativa continued to allow scientific communication from authors from various countries. 46 articles were developed in Brazilian territory (56.8%), maintaining its characteristic as a national journal; These national articles were developed in 17 Brazilian states: MT (12), BA (6), MG (5), SP (4), PR (3), PA (2), AM (2), ES (2) and TO (2); the states PB, GO, RN, RR, RS, CE, SC and SE contributed with 1 article each. In this case, it is worth noting that the institutional affiliations of the authors are from various Brazilian states, and not just from the location where the research was conducted.
Internationally, the Nativa journal has been consolidating itself, mainly in countries with less availability of resources for scientific research and publication. Contributions came from the following countries: Indonesia (6), Peru (6), Ecuador (5), Philippines (3), Ukraine (2), Thailand (2), Iraq (2), Russia (2); and from countries with only 1 article: Portugal, Vietnam, Japan, Egypt, Colombia, Hungary and Pakistan.

- Days to accept the article: 187
- Days to reject: 10

In 2026, new editorial strategies will be adopted to improve the impact, visibility, and citation of articles published in Nativa.
In addition to these changes, we inform you that the Nativa Journal will move to a new institutional address, due to the removal and redistribution of the editors responsible for the Editorial Board. From v.14 n.1 2016 onwards, Nativa will be linked to the Department of Soils and Rural Engineering, of the Faculty of Agronomy and Zootechnics (FAAZ), of the Federal University of Mato Grosso, in the city of Cuiabá-MT.
Once again, we thank everyone and wish you a Happy New Year!!!!
Sincerely,
